Forest Hill Ridge

Forest Hill Ridge is located adjacent to Carnation Ridge.  It undulating landscape overlooks the Ocmulgee River and the Norfolk Southern RR tracks and arguably offers one of the more scenic settings within the cemetery.  It is within this section that the well-known Woolfolk family gravesite is located.  This family was murdered in 1887 by the son of Mr. Richard Woolfolk.  Tom Woolfolk, the son, maintained his innocence up to his death by hanging for conviction of the murders.  The gravesite itself contains nine simple brick topped graves with the family named engraved in the terraced steps leading down the site.
